eremy Corbyn says Shamima Begum SHOULD be let back into Britain and 'given our support' after ISIS bride was stripped of UK citizenship - as Diane Abbott says ministers cannot 'subvert the rule of law'

Jeremy Corbyn has said jihadi bride Shamima Begum should be allowed back into Britain and given the 'support that she needs' by authorities. 

The Labour leader argued the teenager, who gave birth to a baby boy in a refugee camp on Sunday, had 'a right to return' after fleeing the country to support ISIS.

He also said the decision by Home Secretary Sajid Javid to strip the 19-year-old, originally from east London, of her citizenship was a 'very extreme manoeuvre'. 

While Diane Abbott, the shadow Home Secretary, said the Government 'could not subvert the rule of law' to forbid the 19-year-old from re-entering the country.
